Makaio is a blend of Fluazinam (a2,6-dinito-Aniline) and Cymoxanil (acyanoacetami e-oxime) that is potent for the control of a wide variety of diseases. Makaio has a multi-site mechanism of action that disrupts energy production in fungi. Fluazinam is a versatile inhibitory contact fungicide from the Dinitroaniline group, and it prevents the germination of disease spores, their entry into the micelles plant tissue, and the formation and reproduction of disease spores again.
Cymoxanil, on the other hand, is from the urea group, and oxime O-ether and aliphatic nitrogen show antifungal properties. Makaio provides protective, therapeutic and destructive control, is a fungicide with contact and systemic effects.
Since it penetrates the plant tissue quickly, it can maintain its effectiveness even if it rains after application. It is a granular formulation used at low rates. This product, which is a mixture of two active substances, is effective against downy mildew in vegetables.
